Yes. Within the L&Z portal you can upload a collection file to set up collection schedules and recurring collections going forward.
Once you have logged in the L&Z portal you can download an example or if you wish to download a copy of the file with your customers included.
To download a copy of the file:
- Once you have logged in to the portal click on to Direct Debits at the top of the screen
- Then on the left-hand menu click on to Collections and then click on to Upload Collection Schedules.
- Within the Upload Collection Schedules screen you can then either select Download File Format or Download File Format with External Reference*.
- The file will download with a CSV example showing as the following.
- You will then be able to input your own customer information using the following format.
Note – The Date will need to be future dated depending on when your nearest collection can be made.
Once you have saved the file you will now be able to upload the file within the Upload Collection Schedules Screen.
- Once you have logged in to the portal click on to Direct Debits at the top of the screen.
- Then on the left-hand menu click on to Collections and then click on to Upload Collection Schedules.
- Within the Upload Collection Schedules Screen, if you click on to Choose File.
- This will bring up the file explorer, you will need to Navigate to where the file has been saved to, once selected you can either double click on the file or select the file and then click on to Open once selected.
- The file will now be populated and ready for this to be uploaded, when ready click on to the Upload Schedules
- You will now be presented with the Upload Collection Schedules Response screen as shown below.
Within this screen if any errors incur this will appear on this screen and this will show the error with the cause of the error. If an error does incur the remaining file will not be uploaded.
When the file has been uploaded the collection will now appear under the Customer, within the collection schedules as a new schedule shown by the example below.
*External Reference this will allow you to input your own reference for the collection and this will appear in the L&Z portal under customer and the collections that have been scheduled.
You can if you wish to create your own file, we advise to create this using excel and then saving the file in a CSV format. The layout of the file will be as follows:
