How to Add One-Off Collection Schedules by Uploading a File with or without payer data.

The L&Z Portal allows you to upload a file to set up one-off collections for selected customers.

**Steps:**
1. Log in to the portal.
2. Click Direct Debits > Collections > Upload Collections.

3. Download a file format template (with or without customer references).

4. Enter the required details in the CSV file:
   - Customer details
   - Collection amount (Column C)
   - Optional external reference (Column F)
Please note: With the below example you will need to remove this from the file and input your own customer information using the following format. A screenshot of a computer

Please note – The Date will need to be future dated depending on when your nearest collection can be made.  


5. Save and upload the file via Choose File > Upload Collections.

The upload response screen will confirm successful uploads or show errors. One-off collections will then appear under the customer’s schedules.

To Download a file to include Customer information:   

  1. Within the Upload Collections screen (same screen as above) you can then either select Download File Format with Customers or Download File Format with Customer and External Reference. 

  2. Once you have made your selection, you will be able to choose the customers you wish to include in the file from your list, and you can also specify the collection date.  
    Note – The tab will only show 25 entries which you can adjust up to 100 entries, you can also search for your customers within this tab as well.

  3. When you have selected the customer’s, you wish to use you will need to click on to Download.

  4. The file will download with in a format of CSV, the example below shows how the file will look.

  5. You will need to enter the amount in Column C  for your customers and if you wish in Column F you can enter the External Reference.   

Please save the file. You are now ready to upload the file within the Upload Collections Screen.   

  1. Within the Upload Collections screen (same screen as above) you can click on to Choose File.

  2. This will open your file explorer. Locate the saved file, select it, and then either double-click to open it or click once to highlight the file and then click Open.

  3. The file is now prepared and ready for upload. When you are ready, click Upload Collections to proceed.

  4. Once the file is uploaded, the Collection File Upload Response screen will appear as shown below. This screen will also display confirmation of a successful upload or highlighting any errors for your review. If an error does incur the remaining file will not be uploaded.

  5. Once the file has been uploaded, the one-off collection will be visible under the relevant customer’s schedule within the portal, as illustrated below.

    Please note: The External Reference column allows you to enter your own reference for the collection. This reference will be displayed in the L&Z portal under the relevant customer and the scheduled collections.

    Tip: You can if you wish to create your own file, we advise to create this using excel and then saving the file in a CSV format. The layout of the file will be as follows:
